Terms of Service

1. Acceptance

By accessing or using CV Verdict at cv-verdict.vercel.app ("the Service"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. What the service is

CV Verdict is an AI-powered CV analysis tool. You submit CV text or a PDF file, and the Service uses OpenAI's language models to return recruiter-style feedback — including role scores, flagged bullet points, suggested rewrites, and recruiter questions. The analysis is informational only. We make no guarantee of employment outcomes, interview callbacks, or recruiter behaviour.

3. Credits and payments

Access to CV analysis requires credits. Credits are sold in packs:

  • 5 credits — $5
  • 15 credits — $12
  • 50 credits — $35

One credit is consumed per analysis. Credits do not expire. Payments are processed by Paddle. By completing a purchase you agree to Paddle's terms. Refunds are governed by our Refund Policy.

4. Your content

You retain full ownership of any CV or text you submit. By submitting content you grant CV Verdict a limited, temporary licence to process it solely to generate your analysis. We do not store your CV after the analysis is returned, and we do not use your CV content to train AI models.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Submit CV content belonging to another person without their explicit consent.
  • Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or overload the Service.
  • Use the Service for any unlawful purpose.
  • Circumvent credit limits or payment controls.

Violation of these rules may result in immediate suspension or termination of your account without refund.

6. Limitation of liability

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. CV Verdict is not liable for any decisions you make based on the analysis output, missed job opportunities, or any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.

7. Changes to the service or terms

We may update these Terms or change the Service at any time. Material changes will be communicated via the website or email. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
