1. Who we are

CV Verdict (cv-verdict.vercel.app) is an AI-powered CV analysis tool that evaluates your resume the way a senior recruiter would. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights.

2. What we collect

We collect the following data when you use CV Verdict:

  • Account data — your email address when you register or sign in, used solely for authentication.
  • CV content — the text or file you submit for analysis. This is sent to OpenAI to generate your recruiter-grade feedback and is not stored on our servers after the analysis is returned.
  • Credit balance — the number of credits remaining on your account, stored so we can enforce pack limits.
  • Usage data — anonymous technical data such as page visits and error logs, used to keep the service running reliably.

3. How we use your data

  • Your CV text is forwarded to OpenAI solely to generate the analysis result shown to you. We do not use it for any other purpose.
  • Your email is used to authenticate your account and, if needed, to communicate about your account or a refund request.
  • We do not use your data for advertising, profiling, or to train AI models.

4. Third-party processors

We share data with the following processors only as needed to operate the service:

  • OpenAI — receives your CV text to run the analysis. Subject to OpenAI's data processing terms.
  • Paddle — processes payments for credit packs. CV Verdict does not store your card details. Subject to Paddle's privacy policy.
  • Vercel — hosts the application. Subject to Vercel's privacy policy.

5. Data retention

CV text is not stored after the analysis is complete. Your account data (email and credit balance) is retained for as long as your account exists. You may request account deletion at any time by contacting us, after which your account data will be permanently removed.

6. Cookies

We use essential session cookies required for authentication. We do not use advertising cookies or non-essential tracking technologies.

7. Your rights

Depending on your jurisdiction you may have rights to access, correct, or delete your personal data. Since CV text is not retained, there is no stored CV to access. For other requests — such as account deletion or data export — contact us via the CV Verdict website.
